Build-a-Bear

I have never been in build a bear. This year for Christmas the girls were given gift cards to build a bear by their grandma. So off we went. Once we were there the boys had to have one too. It was really cute how the whole thing works and the boys loved it just as much as the girls. Here are their finished projects.Alex's bunny is named marshmellow. Hunter named his dog Indiana Bones, Braydon's dog is Woff Woffinden. Do you see why we had to have a rocker dog?? Then Sidney's penguin is named Spaz. HUMMMM???? I wonder why we would pick a name like that???

Christmas Day

Grandma Woffinden's house, with Grandma Pulley.

Great Grandma Woffindens House.

What Santa Brought!! He was way too nice.

Christmas

Christmas Eve is always spent at Grandma Longs. We all dress up for dinner and pictures. This year Todd and Laura were with her family, we missed them. So the picture of the grandkids is missing Arya :( . Then a picture of our Christmas Eve dinner. Then the kids in their new pj's. Then just one of Eric and I.

Christmas Band Concert

Sidney did a great job at her first band concert. She has been asked to join concert band and she has only been playing since June. I am so proud of her. The concert was great by the way. Everyone who participated did a great job.

It's Christmas Eve

The kids were out playing in the snow this afternoon and guess who stopped by on his Harley? Santa!! He had time for a couple of pictures and he gave the kids a candy cane and told them to be good.

Let it Snow!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Since it finally snowed the kids have been outside every day playing in it. I'm sure you can see from the pictures which hill was first and how it is now.

Temple Square

Every year for my moms birthday my family visits Temple square. This year was beautiful, just as it is every year. I love getting in the spirit and enjoying all the lights. It is also a treat to ride the tracks train up. We are able to relax and visit with everyone as we travel. This has become one of my kids favorite traditions that we do every Christmas season. One of my favorite parts are the luminaries and the nativities.

O Christmas Tree

It is that time of year again when it is time to put up the tree. We had fun going and hunting for ornaments this year. I think I have decided to name our tree style as a memory tree. We always try to get the kids an ornament that goes along with what they are most interested in that year.
Sidney and Alex both received two ornaments this year. We found one for Volleyball and then Sidney got a penguin one and Alex a little spatula for her cooking fetish.

Now Braydon was easy he loves baseball and sports so when we found his we had to have it. Hunter on the other had was a little harder because that Stupid Halmark Indiana Jones was $16.00 and there was no way I was spending that much. So we took him to look and he found his train. So as long as he loves it we went with it. This is one of my favorite parts of Christmas. I love how excited the kids are to show Grandma's their new ornament for the year. It is also a lot of fun when they open up their box to start decorating the tree and talk about how, "I remember this one, Hey look at mine, Do you remember when I got this." I love these memories and hope that they do too.

Hunter's Birthday!!

My baby is 6! I can't believe it. I think he had a great birthday! Dad had to work the day before so the hardest part was waiting for him to make it home.

Since Hunter has lived, breathed, slept, played, watched and rewatched Indiana Jones for the past 8 months we had an Indy birthday.

For about a month we have been planning the party. From the very start Hunter wanted a tank cake. This was the scariest part for me. How in the world would I be able to do that??? But with the help of the internet and a picture I think we were able to accomplish this feet.
Next was the problem of what cake to do for the friend party. This was solved by a magazine, YA!! So here are the cakes. And the party goers. What fun!
