Field Trip Friday (Saturday)

We had an awesome day on Saturday. We got up early and headed for Salt Lake, the Bee's had a baseball clinic for the kids at 10 that morning.

Braydon and Hunter had a blast being able to learn from the players. The boys favorite part was being able to go into the dug out and use the Bee's batting cages. Then go on a tour of the locker room and training room.

Then we went up to the University of Utah for a couple of hours, we found a great pizza place just off campus called "The Pie", yummy yummy.

That evening we went back down to the Bees/ Grizzlys game. It was a great game. We were freezing most of it but the game was great. The Bees won in the bottom of the 9th.

6 th Grade Graduation

Sometimes I can't believe how fast the time flies by. Alex graduated from the 6th grade today. She will be moving on to junior high that is the craziest thing to wrap my head around. She has grown up so much this year. I am so proud of how hard she has worked and what an amazing young women she has become.

This is watching her balloon with her dream in it floating away

Dance Festival

Today was one of the best dance festivals I have been to. I loved every minute of the dances this year.

Hunter danced to "Do you love me?"

Braydon danced to "The cha cha slide"

Alex's class looked amazing as the preformed "Thriller"

End of Year Band Concert

The band concert Thursday night was fabulous. Sidney had a whole row and 1 seat of family there to see here. We are so lucky to have such amazing support from our extended family. Sidney had been so excited leading up to the concert because she loved the music so much. She did a great job. Sidney also worked hard to memorize her 12 scales so that she could move on to Symphonic band next year. We are so proud of how hard she works.

4th grade Utah Program

Last Wednesday night Braydon had his Utah program. I was so thrilled to see that Braydon knew the songs and that he was happy to do the actions. Just 2 years ago, Braydon would have never done the program. He is so shy when it comes to singing and doing actions. I was also very proud of how well he knew his part. It is a great program. Alex passed out during her program so we didn't get to see the whole thing.

School Carnival

We had a great time at the school carnival tonight. This is the quilt I made and donated to the auction. It has all of the hand prints of the class with their names written inside each hand. All of the kids did their own so they are all so unique. I love the way it turned out. I am making another one to give Braydon's teacher the last day of school. All of the other pictures are from the carnival.

Mother's Day Dinner

For the last 4 years we have had a Mother's Day dinner for Eric's Mom and Grandma's. We figure that this way we get to spend some one on one time with these 3 great women. This is one of the traditions that the kids look forward to every year.

Unfortunately Great Grandma Woffinden couldn't make it this year. It was still a really fun night even with some pretty tired grandma's and grandpa, that had been traveling home from Wyoming.

We had lasagna, bread sticks, and green salad, with yummy berry poke cake for desert.

Looking like Gibbs

Braydon has been obsessed with NCIS for a few weeks. Tonight I gave the boys hair cuts. Braydon and Hunter decided to get a Gibbs hair cut. Their cuts are a shorter on top but they look great.
