Halloween Parade and Costumes 2010

Hunter has been planning to be the mad scientist for a few months now. He started building a time machine to go with his costume but it had a lot of parts and was a little to much to take to school. I was able to talk him into just carrying around a beaker full of potion.

Braydon had no idea what he should be until a couple of days ago. I am so glad that he choose something so easy. He makes a pretty cute little robber.

Since we have a band competition on the 30th I didn't want to worry about doing something big for the girls for Halloween. Sidney will be on the bus with the band, and Alex will be with Eric and I. So that is where Alex came up with wearing her PJ's and Sidney went as a 60's girl but she had friends ask why she didn't dress up since she dresses like that a lot of times.

Crazy Wind

Sunday night there was a crazy storm that came through PG. We ended up loosing a bunch of limbs from 3 of our trees. It took all of Monday to clean up all of the limbs and leaves that were blown all over the street from our trees. It took the next two days to put our fence and gate back together. It was crazy. We had several people in our ward have their trampolines take flight too. My Cousin ended up with the neighbors tramp in their tree about 30 feet up. Crazy!!

Fall 2010

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the crisp smell of the air. The cooling of the night. Wearing sweaters, drinking hot chocolate, warm fires. I love the colors of autumn as well. Every year since Sidney was little I have always taken pictures of the kids with the fall leaves in my moms backyard. This year is no different. The only thing I didn't like about these pictures are, they show how grown up the kids are all becoming.

Marching Band

Sidney has been a natural since day 1 with her trumpet. This year she is participating with the High School Band. I am so proud of her and all of her hard work.

Creative Soul

Hunter is my creative soul. I knew when he was about 6 or 7 months old that he was right brained. He used to crawl over to the speakers of the stereo and lean against them so that he could feel the vibrations. Music was always something that calmed him. Then when I was brave enough to let him start playing with crayons and paper. He went crazy.
He now is still very artistic. He has been creating with legos for about 2 years. He decided he wants me to send this one into the lego club to see if they will publish it in their magazine. I need to take more pictures so that he can see some of the great things he has done when he gets older.

Now I just have to do my best to help him find that creative outlet that he needs.

Sidney turns 15

I think it will be a crazy year. Sidney turned 15 last week.

She has been so involved in band the last few weeks so we went with a band themed cake.

First Day of School 2010

Everyone had a great first day of school. I hate so much having them grow up. If I could freeze time I think now would be a good time to do it.

Sidney started the 9th grade. She has a pretty tough schedule this year and is doing a bunch of extra curricular activities. She has a great look out and has set some good goals for the year. I know she is going to do fantastic.

Alex is a 7th grader. I was so nervous for her first day. I was sick to my stomach the whole day waiting for her to get done. She loved every minute of it. She felt so good about how well everything went.

Braydon is a 5th grader. He has Miss Nuttall this year. He came home so excited about her and his new class. He has some great friends in his class so it will make the year go great.

Hunter is a 2nd grader. My baby is getting so grown up. He has a new teacher to the school this year named Mrs. Shoop. His favorite part is that he is out in the trailers. This is the first class any of my kids have had a class out there so he thinks that is pretty neat.
